Originally from Norway, Heidi graduated with a BSc Honours degree in prosthetics and orthotics from Strathclyde University in 1998, and since then has worked as an Orthotist in Norway and the UK. She also holds a BSc first class honours degree in Health, Exercise & Sport Science from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC).
Heidi was a keen rugby player, and has played for local club teams, as well as gaining international honours with Wales students and Norway.
