Sport Rehabilitators

Sport rehabilitators are equipped with the skills and knowledge to assess and treat musculo-skeletal injuries and pathology, from simple to complex problems both within and outside of the sporting world. They have been trained solely in Sports and Exercise Medicine, with an emphasis on the design and implementation of exercise and rehabilitation programmes in both health and disease.

Sport rehabilitators have graduated with a Bachelor degree with Honours in Sport Rehabilitation, or an equivalent course of study suitable for them to be recognised as a graduate member of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), the United Kingdom professional body for Graduate Sports Rehabilitators. You can find out more about the training routes for sport rehabilitators here.
